Terms & Conditions
Vestara · Last updated: June 2025
These terms set out the basis on which Vestara offers its retirement information workshops and the conditions that apply when you register for or attend a session. Please read them before submitting a registration or enquiry.
1. About Vestara and Our Services
Vestara provides educational workshops on retirement and pension topics in Thailand. Our programmes are informational and organisational in nature. They do not constitute professional financial, legal, or personal advice of any kind, and no individual recommendations are made within or arising from any session.
Vestara is not licensed to provide regulated financial services. Nothing shared in any session should be understood as advice on what any individual should do with their savings, entitlements, or personal circumstances.
2. Registering for a Session
A place on a Vestara session is confirmed when we send a written confirmation by email following receipt of your registration and payment. Until confirmation is sent, no booking is guaranteed.
For group employer programmes, the organisation's designated contact is responsible for providing accurate details about the programme scope and the number of participants to be included. Changes requested after confirmation may affect scheduling or pricing.
3. Fees and Payment
Session fees are as listed on our website at the time of booking and are quoted in Thai Baht. Fees include printed materials, refreshments where specified for the programme type, and post-session follow-up email correspondence.
Payment is required to secure a place. Vestara will communicate accepted payment methods at the time of booking. Fees are non-transferable between programme types.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
By the participant: Cancellations received more than seven calendar days before the scheduled session date will be refunded in full. Cancellations received within seven calendar days of the session will not be refunded, but the place may be transferred to another person attending the same session type if Vestara is notified in advance.
By Vestara: If Vestara cancels a session due to circumstances within our control, a full refund will be offered or the place rescheduled to a future session at the participant's preference. If a session is cancelled due to circumstances outside our reasonable control (including but not limited to public health measures, natural events, or venue unavailability), Vestara will offer a rescheduled place but is not liable for any consequential costs incurred by participants.
5. Session Conduct and Scope
Sessions are facilitated in a group format. Facilitators are not able to give individual advice, review personal documents in detail, or make recommendations specific to any attendee's circumstances during or following a session.
Follow-up questions sent by email after a session are answered in general educational terms only. Responses do not constitute personal, financial, or legal advice.
Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully towards facilitators and other attendees. Vestara reserves the right to ask a participant to leave a session if their conduct is disruptive, without refund.
6. Session Materials
Printed materials, checklists, folder templates, and presentation slides provided within a session are for the personal or internal use of the recipient only. They may not be reproduced, sold, or distributed to third parties without prior written consent from Vestara.
Materials are prepared from publicly available official sources. Vestara reviews and updates materials before each programme cycle but cannot guarantee that all information remains current between revision dates. Participants are encouraged to verify specific details against current official publications.
7. Intellectual Property
All session content, written materials, and presentation materials produced by Vestara remain the intellectual property of Vestara. Attending a session does not transfer any ownership of or licence to use these materials beyond personal or internal reference use as described above.
8. Limitation of Liability
Vestara's workshops are educational and informational only. We do not accept any liability for decisions made by participants on the basis of information shared in sessions, for outcomes arising from the application of general educational content to individual circumstances, or for any consequential or indirect loss of any kind.
Nothing in these terms limits Vestara's liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Website Use
This website is provided for general information purposes. Vestara makes reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate and current but does not warrant that all content is complete or error-free at all times. Use of the website is at your own risk.
Links to external websites are provided as a convenience. Vestara does not endorse or accept responsibility for the content of external sites.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms or Vestara's services will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.
11. Changes to These Terms
Vestara may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. The terms in effect at the time of your booking apply to that booking. Continued use of the website or submission of a new registration after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
